About Globe Restaurant

Fresh food and fresh powder at Big White since 2008

It’s your home away from home, no matter where you’re from. Globe Restaurant has been perfecting its menu since 2008 to bring you the best the world has to offer paired with incredible cocktails, a curated wine list highlighting local Okanagan wineries, and live music—that’s the comfort of Globe.

The Globe Story

In 2008, two European families sat in a small venue at Big White Ski Resort and decided they wanted to offer something different to the food scene while raising their families here in Kelowna.

Starting with its European roots, Globe restaurant (then called Little Globe) was founded on a very simple philosophy: the warmest of welcomes combined with simple, delicious food that can be shared with your friends and family.

All those seasons later, both families have become expert skiers, with five boys combined who have enjoyed a childhood in the mountains.

In its 14th season, owners Jude Brunt and Paul Doherty passed the baton to chef and businessman Ross Derrick. Ross helped open the restaurant originally and brings decades of industry experience and a history of wanderlust to Globe Restaurant.

Come see the magic for yourself, including creative cocktails, live music, and renowned local VQA wines showcasing the best of the Okanagan Valley. Whether you’re a local or on your dream vacation, welcome home.
